He received his doctorate from RWTH Aachen University and later completed his habilitation there as well. As an Associate Professor, he represents an academically grounded, methodically structured and practice-oriented approach to technical matters. The combination of research, teaching and industry-related project work provides a strong basis for expert opinions, evidence collection, damage analysis and technical evaluation. In addition, he is active in the field of standardization.
